Visas - are available upon arrival, at the Airports or on Borders.
Operation of Tours and Packages
Sightseeing Tours operate daily, unless otherwise stated. Museums in general are close on Mondays, but alternatives are available.
Tour Reservations
Should be made no less then 10 days in advance for groups, and 3 days in advance for individuals. It is recommended to reserve the Hotels well in advance, especially for high season (May-Oct.).
Deposit and Final Payment
Deposit of 50 % of tour cost must be done in advance (prior to arrival). One-week prior for independent travelers and two weeks prior for groups. Entire payment must be complete after arriving in Armenia and BEFORE the tour begins.
Cancellation
Any cancellation must be received by DA Tours, before the tour will be processed. Last minute cancellation & no-shows (no matter what the reason) - is a subject for penalties. Hotels also may have the late cancellation penalties.
Transportation
Land transportation is by private vehicles, mini-vans, or cars, depending of the size of the group / party. Vehicles are comfortable and reliable with professional drivers.
Guides
Highly skilled multilingual guides-interpreters are provided. They are carefully selected and trained in history and architecture of Armenia, as well as in customer service. DA Tours Guides speak Armenian, Russian, English and Spanish. French, German, Italian, Arabian, Farsi and other languages are available on request.
Smoking
DA Tours has a non-smoking policy in our vehicles. If requested, our drivers will stop for smoking breaks.
Insurance
DA Tours advices full travel insurance covering: cancellations, health, accident and lost baggage or personal effects. Insurance can be provided by DA Tours upon agreement.
Responsibilities & Liabilities
Limitation of Liability - DA Tours shall NOT be liable for :
Expenses such as additional hotel nights and meals not specified in the individual trip itineraries that may be required either en route, prior to, or following a trip, when caused by individual clients' travel arrangements, by airline scheduling or airline schedule changes, canceled flights, missed flight connections, or by other factors beyond DA Tours control.
Responsibility of DA Tours as a tour operator / or / their agents is limited. DA Tours acts only as an agent for hotels, car and coach companies and / or other sub-agents and contractors, and it is only liable for services as advertised. It cannot accept liability for any losses, damages, accidents, personal injury and change of schedules, which occur beyond its control. DA Tours gives notice that services provided in connection with its itineraries including air-transportation, hotel accommodations, restaurants, and other services are purchased from various independent suppliers who are not affiliated with DA Tours, in any way. Although it endeavors to choose the best suppliers available, DA Tours has no ability to control their operations and therefore makes this travel arrangements upon the express condition that DA Tours, its own agents and employees, shall not be liable for any delay, mishap, inconvenience, expense, irregularity, bodily injury or death to person, or damage to property occasioned through the conduct or default of any company or individual engaged in providing these services.
Special Requests, such as vegetarian menus, diabetic menus, etc. may be accommodated. Prior notification in such events may be necessary. Although we will do our best to assist, Special Requests may incur a charge.
Trip Member's Responsibility
First Rule - Respect each other!
Trip members have the responsibility to select a trip appropriate to their abilities and interests. Trip members are held responsible for being in sufficient good health to undertake the trip. Trip members are responsible for preparing for bringing the appropriate clothing. It is possible to create a customized tour by PRIOR agreement with DA Tours, which can better suite your abilities and interests.
Notification
Tour participants should note that in many parts of Armenia, the restroom facilities are inadequate. Participants should be prepared to use an outhouse.
Standart tours start at any time, and you will be taken from your hotel, or desired place in center of Yerevan.
***Trips are budgeted for a full or nearly full signup to enable us to offer trips at the lowest possible cost.
***Schedules are subject to change depending on weather and other unexpected circumstances beyond the control of DA Tours.
